  1. INTRODUCTION

As Bozlu Holding A.Ş. (“Bozlu”), we provide information regarding the types of cookies used on our website, the reasons for their use, and the management of cookies within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law and relevant legislation.

The Cookie Policy explains to website visitors the cookies used to provide a better service and a functional online environment, and specifies the rights and authorities of users regarding personal data.

  1. WHAT IS A COOKIE

A cookie is a type of text file placed on a user’s device by website operators and transferred as part of an HTTP(s) (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) request. Cookies are small, rich text format files that allow the storage of certain information about users on their terminal devices when visiting a web page.

BY DURATION
a. Session Cookies:

Also known as temporary cookies, session cookies are used to ensure the continuity of the session. Session cookies are deleted when the user closes their web browser.

    These are cookies that are not deleted when the browser is closed and are automatically deleted after a certain date or period. Through these cookies, processed data of the user is transmitted to the server each time the user visits a website.

BY PURPOSE
a. Necessary Cookies:
These are the cookies required for the website to function. These cookies are mandatory for fulfilling the information society service requested by the user.

    Cookies used to remember personal preferences and customization in websites or applications. These cookies are used to provide functionalities that go beyond the necessary cookies.
  2. Performance – Analytical Cookies:
    These cookies allow for statistical measurement to analyze user behaviors on websites. These cookies are often used to improve the website, including measuring the effectiveness of advertisements on the relevant persons.

By logging into the site, users acknowledge that they have been informed about the processing of their personal data and consent to the data processing activities that Bozlu will conduct.   1. USERS’ RIGHTS AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM
    Pursuant to Article 11 of the relevant Law, you have the right to perform the following actions at any time:
    a) Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
    b) Request information regarding the processing of your personal data,
    c) Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used appropriately for this purpose,
    d) Know the third parties in your country or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
    e) Request the correction of incomplete or incorrect data, if any,
    f) Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the relevant Law,
    g) Request the notification of the operations carried out in accordance with sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
    h) Object to any results arising from the analysis of data processed solely through automated systems,
    i) Request compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.

To exercise the rights mentioned above, you can submit your request by filling out the Application Form available at https://www.bozlu.com/en/personal-data-protection/ and sending it via:

  • A signed petition with your wet signature to 19 Mayıs Mah. Dr. Şevket Bey Sok. No:5 Şişli, Istanbul, by mail,
  • A notary,
  • Or by sending it with a secure electronic or mobile signature to bozluholdingas@hs01.kep.tr.
    Otherwise, applications will not be considered. Applications will be concluded as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 days. If your application is rejected, if you find the response inadequate, or if the application is not answered within the period, you can file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority within 30 days of learning about the response, or within 60 days from the date of your application.
